hey sooki, long time since i wrote you a note, i have been kind of out since coming back from Japan. Anyhow, I cant believe Johan's mom kept all this things for him; it makes me wonder if I should do the same with Luca's stuff, but in NY it's impossible as you know! The good thing is that now I can pass everything to Karla so I dont feel too bad and very soon to Dan as wll so it will all stay in the family (at least for a while:)

By the way, Luca does the same thing with the stickers, he sticks this anywhere and everywhere the house including his table, just like Lukas:)

Love the race car and the airplane in particular! They don't make them as solid anymore nowadays ... 70's Matchbox/Hotwheels etc. were ALL cast metal and even the small ones had moving parts like doors and hoods.
My parents saved a lot of my old toys (and books) as well, and the children couldn't be happier playing with those every August.

I agree Ninjette, they don't make toys like they used to... we've been looking into old fischer price toys, the barn set in particular and found out they have a modern version. It looks completely different and it's much more simpler and not so nice looking....
