Lukas kommer till Världen

Advent Calendar!!

So my mother in law Ragnhild lent me her AWESOME hand embroidered Advent Calendar that she made for her children 35 or so years ago. Unfortunately you can not see it very well do to the big clunky packages that i hung on it which were way too big for the calendar :P I will try to post a picture of it without any packages once Lukas has gone thru them!!

Ooooh, i can't wait to show Lukas this tomorrow morning!!! In case you guys are wondering, the packages aren't that big..all just the size of my palm or smaller.

Next year, IF i do the calendar again that is, i think i will do it the Martha Stewart way :P

Pappa Johan's treasures from the past...

Johan went thru all the boxes in the basement today and organised it!! Can't wait to see it...but the icing on the cake is that he found some of his favorite books and toys from when he was just a toddler himself :)

Gunnebo Slott

We took Lukas to The Gunnebo Slott today. They are having their annual Christmas Market this + next weekend so we thought it could be a fun outting. We didn't get to see the Christmas Market which was indoors and packed with people but we had fun nevertheless being outside visiting the farm animals and checking out some of Lukas' troll friends :P

p.s. Lukas didn't take a nap today for the very first time!!!

Lukas got a professional haircut today!!

We cut a lot but still kept it a bit on the long side... 

And of course i had to document the whole thing :P He was a pro!! Or should i say the hairstylist was a pro? Both!!

He got his first lollipop too today after the haircut. Here's Johan showing Lukas how to eat the candy:P

His sleeping companions are growing day by day...

It used to be just his yang(lamb), Stanley(dog), Christina(cat). Now he has added Bamse(little bear), orm(snake), klocka(clock), Elmo(phone) and bil(yellow porche).

Yesterday he requested the radio to be on as well...

And today he added Momo's old wet food She-ba into the mix.  I think we need to get a bigger bed soon. We like this bed :)

Trip to the Universeum

We took Lukas to the Universeum yesterday. Here's a few highlights...

With mamma Sooki... he likes to call us mamma Sooki and pappa Johan. I kind of feel like a Smurf for some reason...

With many fish... he wasn't so into the fish. He loooved the octopus though..unfortunately no pix of him and the beautiful octopus. Next time!!

Oooh la la...

My boss and i went to Paris for a day Wednesday. We spent most of our day in planes, crazy long taxi rides and 4 different meetings with the client, but we did get a hour and half lunch break where Jimmy treated us to a nice lunch at a quaint cafe near pont neuf bridge:)

I can't wait to go back to Paris again with Johan and Lukas!! I got to go thru the lovely passage way Johan and i found accidently on our last trip... FYI, Lukas was only 8 or 9 weeks old in my tummy at that time...

In a galaxy far, far away...

I've been really busy with work Mon. Tues. + Wed., so Johan pretty much went solo with Lukas those days. They always have a lot of fun though, here's one of the stuff they did...Johan doing the Darth Vader impersonation with Lukas with a bucket over his head :P

The Lukas Camera

I made Lukas a camera yesterday out of tofu packaging box and plastic trinkets from Lukas "miscellaneous" box. Lukas didn't like it so much in the beginning but warmed up to it right before bedtime and insisted he sleep with it. I had to tiptoe in later and take it off his head...
