Meet Lukas' fuzzy new ... and loooooong pal, Snake!!

Lukas is not really into playing or holding stuffed animals, but he absolutely LOOOOVES the snake Johan got him this past weekend. Not only does Lukas play with it during the day but the snake actually gets to sleep with Lukas and the lamb during the night as well!!

Anywho, here's a picture of Lukas that i took this morning before i went to work, watching Bolibompa with lamb and snake :)

Weekend Update - Sunday

Lukas (and i..) did a lot today. In the morning, we did two big bags full of recycling, then went hunting for those last minute mushrooms, and decided to take a ride on the spårvagn 10 all the way to the other end of the route!! It was fun in the beginning then after we passed the city and started to go into the ghetto areas it wasn't so fun..

Anyways, the weather was fantastic and Lukas was feeling better so we braved ourselves and took him to the newly renovated Plikta playground in Slottskogen in the afternoon. As expected, it was swarming with kids and their parents/grandparents... we tried a few stuff with Lukas but he just wanted to get out of there... so did we as a matter of fact.

P.s. That's a big whale you see below. It's beautiful... hopefully we can explore it better next time!!

We ended up fika-ing at the Natural History Museum cafe instead, then Lukas got a very nice present from daddy, a big fuzzy snake. He loves it so much he hugged it all the way home, played with it before, during and after dinner - he had no dinner, he didn't eat :( - and is sleeping with it. Oooh, so cute...

Weekend Update - Saturday

Lukas wasn't feeling so good yesterday so we opted out of going to Marstrand for a day with Johan and stayed home. He's really into painting and playing with dough these days :)

As you can see, he is still infatuated with mushrooms. Since we can't find anymore in our neighborhood(due to cold weather + we pretty much killed it all) i have to make a bunch...

and then he kills them all, again ;)

After making a gazillion mushrooms, I asked him to make something and he made my face...pretty impressive no?

Then we made some pizza together... topping consisted of squashed mushrooms and worms :P

Lekar med mamma

Before the party, we chillaxed a bit and played the feather game, it goes something like this... Lukas sits on mommy's chest, put the yellow feather on the mouth area(this was tricky) and then mommy blows the feather up in the air and makes Lukas crack up :)

Oh, don't forget to repeat this 20 times:P

Then sometimes...you have to catch him off guard and tickle him with the feather... hee hee... so fun:)

Johan's Birthday Party

We celebrated Johan's 38th birthday a bit early(his actual bday is tomorrow) with the Hörnestam family yesterday afternoon :) We cheated and bought the food instead of cooking like i normally do, but i did manage to bake the birthday cake which is always a big hit with the small ones, hee hee.

Lukas at daycare

I found Lukas and his little friends listening to Maria read a book when i went to fetch him after work yesterday :) So cute!!

Then we walked home with him carrying the ukulele all the way home :)

Bamse i New York

Lukas is all about the Bamse so he and pappa Johan(Lukas likes to call his pappa, "Pappa Johan") built a mini NYC with Bamse and the F train today.

Lukas, just you wait, mamma and pappa will show you the real thing soon...

Borås Djurparken

We took our little monkey to the zoo on Saturday. He wasn't into the animals so much but the last visit to the ape house was special, he found a lost Bamse figure and both he and the twin baby monkeys had a moment together :)

I have to include a video of course...

Lukas was all about reading up on the dinosaurs on our way out.

He was so focused he didn't even see the T-Rex or all the others in the wood...

Summer Videos

Now that i finally figured how to post videos, i thought i'd post some videos from our summer vakay. Looking at these videos, i am in awe how good Lukas is with his Korean :)

Johan has already started teaching Lukas how to drive the boat. The more important thing is however, him saying he loves me at the end of the clip :P - August 4th

Here's Lukas being all BA-BAM!! As i recall, he ended up grabbing the lantern on the table as soon as we sat down to eat... Yes, he cried A LOT!! - August 4th

Last but not least, Lukas playing in a puddle after we did some recycling. This was our last day of summer vakay. August 7th
