I still remember the first time we met her at the cat lady's house, and the day you brought her home to your K-town apartment. She was hiding under your stove, and Sung tried to coax her out. She's come such a long way since and i am SO glad that she got to experience the beautiful country life on Marstrand in her old days. Rest in peace, Momo San!

NOOOOOO!!!!! I had no idea... I am shocked... I am so sorry... Momo...
She was such a shy yet loving creature. I still remember her stuffing herself onto your couch in NYC to hide and her sleeping on top of my head while you were out of town... only time she let me touch her... I am so sorry...

Sooki, i did get your text and wrote right back - but your text came through my e-mail (!) and i replied to your regular e-mail back since it was some SMS specific weird address.
I hope you guys are doing ok? Momo really had a happy life with you - both in NYC and Göteborg/Marstrand. Lots of sweet memories to look back on. xoxo

Thanx 유현아... I am happy you got to be close with Momo... she isn't like that with many so the few she has come to contact with it's very special... We are ok... we still haven't the heart to clear her food bowls and litter box etc.. We keep on thinking she might jump out from underneath the bed covers or sofa or something...

That's odd Ninjette, but now i see your reply in my lesplurge junkmail... We are ok... we'll be better in time... we just keep on thinking what if this.. what if that...

June...yeah..it's really hitting me afterwards that's she's no longer here with us anymore... Thanks for your condolences... Talk soon :)
Posted by: Sooki | August 29, 2011 at 08:26 AM
sooki! my condolences. it's such a hard decision to make. we had to do the same with watson in july - he also had acute renal failure and was too skinny to bounce back. poor momo and watson... xoe

Just saw this post and I'm in shock. I almost cry while I was reading it:( So sorry to hear this. Momo was part of your family and it is always hard to lose a dear one, specially those who had kept us company and give us such an unconditional love.

oh sooks... momo. so sorry :( she was an awesome kitton, so smooth and so shy. you guys gave her a wonderful life and in return she gave back. so hard to loose a pet... when we lost gussi we lit a candle for a couple of days so he'd an easy transition to the other side. that felt comforting somehow. i'm sure she's chilling with gussi by now, be happy for all the good years you guys had. rest in peace, little cat.

Mama Beanz, candle is a good idea... we actually still have her food/water bowl and litter box. Both Johan and i change her water everyday still. I am thinking once we have received her ashes and buried it in Marstrand then we can remove her items. For now, i am thinking she is still roaming around us in our apt. I sometimes think i hear her....
