Lukas kommer till Världen

I did it!!

After almost a year and a half, i found the little buggers!!! I was flipping thru a child magazine last week and noticed a advertisement page with a children clothing brand called NAME IT. And it oddly looked familiar... and i ran and took Lukas' lamb and the label said NAME IT!!!!! For the longest time, i thought that one little tag i didn't cut was a place to put Lukas' name, did not for once think it was a brand name!!!!! So of course i searched online immediately and i found it at a store in majorna called Filur, there is a God!! Today i finally picked it up, and even better news? Lukas took to it right away :) I am soo happy...

On a different note, Ragnhild is coming out to babysit Lukas for a few hours tomorrow, Thursday + Friday(D-Day). It's crunch time!! Need to pack like a mad woman!!

Hugo, you rock!!

You can always rely on Hugo at work AND outside of work. Hugo is helping Johan with the painting today AND tomorrow for three days in a row!! Thanx sooo much Hugo, you rock!!!

On a different note, Lukas quickly became ill yesterday afternoon. He has a fever and no appetite and has puked a few times(one big one at 3am this morning in our bed...will spare details...). He seemed fine during the day today but has deteriorated again in the evening. I hope tonite will be a little bit easier..fingers crossed!! 

These days...

It's been raining everyday, not continuaously but here and there throughout the day. While Johan is busy making our new apartment nice and white, Lukas and i keep ourselves busy by doing some groceries, laundry, going to playground or mariaplans plaskis..oh and yes, riding the elevator in the new apartment building at least 3 times a day and saying hello to pappa :)

Project Moving, in full gear

We received our new apt keys today so i took Lukas to show him our new apt. He really loves the elevator. We rode it up and down three times :)

My dear husband Johan started to work on it right away... in fact, it is almost 10 pm and he hasn't even eaten dinner and is still there!! I really hope the few friends who said would help with painting will live up to their words, we see!!

Två Födelsedagskalas

Igår firade vi två födelsedag. Det var Lukas farmor Ragnhilds födelsedag och vara kompis Annikas födelsedag också. Lukas och Johan firade Ragnhilds med lunch och lekade på slöttsskoen, och därefter firade vi Annikas på lekplatsen nära Annika och Hugos hemma. Det var jättespännade dag för Lukas!!

The Regulars

Lukas and i have been having lots of fun at our neighborhood playground these days. It's not that fancy or anything but there are some great perks like... A - we have come to know quite a few of the neighborhood folks/kids there B - around our apartment and playground area there are smultrons, hallons(rasberries), vinbär and even blåbär(blueberries)!! C - there are 2 wild hares running around.

Today, Lukas started off by eating some smultrons + hallons, then we saw a stream of big ants marching with little twigs, food(dead insects) and when we arrived at the playground he was greeted by his 2 older daycare mates(Emton 5 and his younger sister Imra 2.5) with a big shout of his name and a hug. After that, they went everywhere where Lukas (& I) went, insisted sitting next to him and trying to hold his hand constantly. I thought this was very amusing, but Lukas not so much :P Then they shared their vinbär pickings and even showed us the big ant hut(?)!! I wish i had my camera, it is huge and really impressive!! I will try to take it next time. Last but not least, on our way home he got to bang/kick some big pipes that's been piled here and there in the hood and we chased one of the hares again(saw it really close yesterday) . Whew.. what an exciting afternoon!

Wish i had pictures of his wild berries & dirt smeared face...instead here is a picture of him watching the Graffalo with Johan right after dinner.

P.s. That rubber shark Lukas is holding is one of the few items Johan has found while he was sorting out his old stuff from the attic. A shark he got when he was in New York in the early 70's!! It looks mean and scary but makes a really cute fun squeaky noise when you squeeze it :P

The Digger

Today we got to see + experience THE DIGGER Johan has mentioned oh so many times from his childhood memories. I think Johan was more excited about it than Lukas.. but then it was a bit big + heavy for him so perhaps in time...
