You can always rely on Hugo at work AND outside of work. Hugo is helping Johan with the painting today AND tomorrow for three days in a row!! Thanx sooo much Hugo, you rock!!!
On a different note, Lukas quickly became ill yesterday afternoon. He has a fever and no appetite and has puked a few times(one big one at 3am this morning in our bed...will spare details...). He seemed fine during the day today but has deteriorated again in the evening. I hope tonite will be a little bit easier..fingers crossed!!
He's the handyman! Hugo that is, but I'm betting Johan does his part as well ;)

Every kid is different, but there's one thing i learned in the past years about (my) puking kids: if i feed them ANYthing less than 12 hours after the last puke, they usually puke all over again. I just hydrate, especially if they're running a fever.
Even if the day appears to start OK-ish, and the kid appears to be hungry, i try to string them along as long as possible. They usually go for frozen Pedialyte ice pops as "food".
Once the 12 hours are over, i go with the BRAT diet: banana, rice, (grated) apple, and dry toast.

Poor LUkas!! Hope he wakes up feeling better tomorrow. How is the packing going? do you guys have everything in boxes already? Are you hiring movers or you guys will load everything yourselves?

thanx for your advice, your advice is always so valuable, he ate a bit of rice, but refused bananas. but he did drink a lot of milk + water. no puke incident last night thank god.. but was high with fever and constantly rolling around between us... he is feeling better again this morning, but we see...

packing is slow. we have kitchen + clothes + some trinkets left. i packed 2 boxes yesterday when Lukas was napping. going to try 2 more today now actually. yup, we hired movers so they will move the boxes and the big furnitures like bed, sofa, tables, dressers etc...

we were lucky and he didn't puke at all yesterday, whew! fingers crossed.. i get so exhausted doing laundry with lukas..up and down, up and down 4 flights of stairs at least 4 times with laundry load + lukas. not fun :(
