Glad Midsommar!!
There is a god afterall.... the weather turned out to be fantabulous this midsummer weekend!!
Lukas got to frolick in the grass near the sea with the awesome flower wreath Joanna made in two shakes of a lamb's tail...
I got to practice my ukulele in the sun + Joanna got to garden...
Joanna and Wacek got a chance to take some cheesy fotos :P
Lukas ate a lot of sweets.. A LOT!!
And of course, Lukas and pappa hung out a lot :)

Ain't gonna stop us...
The bad weather that is. From having fun this weekend that is.
The weather forecast is looking pretty grim for midsommar this long weekend. Yes, i know it's Swedish tradition to have bad weather during midsommar, but they say it might be the worst. Geezus... What can you do? Dress the part and try to have fun right? :) I have Lukas' rain gear ready and will have mine too, we will eat good food and i will play the ukulele:P Hee hee....fyi, Kokokaka has these KK Day where you can do anything you want and i taught myself how to play a song on the ukulele today. Need a lot of practising, but i played it for Johan + Lukas when i came home and they loved it! Have a good one folks and c u next week!

Little Midsummer Party at Lukas' Daycare
Yesterday, Lukas' daycare had a little party to graduate a few older kids + celebrate the upcoming midsummer holiday weekend. It was great to see all the kids together with all the pedagogs and their parents. Lukas of course glued himself to me right away and didn't want to sit with his daycare friends which was a bit sad since i wanted a picture of him with them but he had a good time drinking saft(he drank this in one big gulp!!) and eating cake and popcorn with us :) Yes, the weather sucked, but i guess i should be happy it didn't rain...

Helgen med Aren-Wennerblom
Tack för din besökt till Marstrand, vädret var inte så bra, med vi had trevligt tid med er!! Sara, jag ser fram emot att lära mig granny sqaures från dig:) Vi hörs!
On a different note, here's Lukas riding the boat for the first time this year. It was only a short slow ride to the other side to pick up the Aren-Wennerbloms, but he LOOOVED IT and was so chillaxed:) Here's a video of him, he says, WOW around 24 seconds, hee hee.
p.s. Luckily, the lifevest fits him better now that he has a neck.
Lukas has started to help me with stuff like laundry, putting his toys away, recycling, cooking..today he tried(?) to help me pack stuff to come back into the city. Those plastic cups were really nicely stacked b.t.w:)

Just another weekend at Marstrand
So we will be moving to a bigger apartment end of July folks. Just down the street. Not looking forward to all the stuff that comes with moving like packing, cleaning, and painting ... but super excited about the 2 xtra rooms(one for Lukas and one for Johan's/our office) and drum roll please.. AN ELEVATOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hallelujah!!
We will probably do all this during our vacation days, so we are trying to make the most of the sunny weekends we are having nowadays. Love the foto below of my two boys...
Lukas is really into the binoculars, keeps calling it camera :)
Johan finally showed off his crabbing skills today :P Lukas had a blast playing with the snails and looking at the crab by the sea. *No snails + crabs were injured b.t.w.:P Oh, sadly, a mussle had to be sacrificed to catch the crab tho.. Here's a video of Lukas' first encounter with the crab :)

Challenge
It's very challenging to cook with Lukas at your feet. Some days Johan manages to keep him out of the way, but most days he keeps running back. Today, Johan was busy taking fotos instead...
I got really annoyed at Johan afterawhile and closed the door and continued to cook with Lukas in my arm. I see that he kept on taking fotos...

Our Lukas is now one year and a half years old!!
Lukas turned one year and a half years old yesterday by the way. And today we had his checkup at BVC. He weighs 11.8 kgs, is 83.5 cms long with head circumfrance of 48cm :) Thank you Lukas for growing so well!! Our next appointment is in 1 year!!
Here's Lukas from yesterday's fika with Ben + Karin. He is drinking saft(sugery drink) and eating a chocolate cookie!! Hay yay yay.. bad mommy!! Seriously tho, i need to remember that it's not good for his health even tho it makes him happy...

Visit to Ben + Karin's lovely house
Persistance pays off. Today i finally got to see my work colleague/friend Ben's lovely house that i heard so much about and saw many fotos of. He/sambo Karin kindly invited us over(well, i kinda invited us over) for some lovely fika. Weather was again, perfect! Thanx Ben + Karin for this afternoon, it was such a treat to see your beautiful home full of beautiful artwork and furniture:)
