It's very challenging to cook with Lukas at your feet. Some days Johan manages to keep him out of the way, but most days he keeps running back. Today, Johan was busy taking fotos instead...
I got really annoyed at Johan afterawhile and closed the door and continued to cook with Lukas in my arm. I see that he kept on taking fotos...
love the dress, sooki.

Lovely dress indeed!
If you have to wing it by yourself, try to put Lukas on his high chair, at eye level / close to the action. Our kids just want to see what's going on and participate wherever possible (washing rice, measuring stuff, etc). The last part is a bit trickier for an 18-month old, but a few plastic bowls and a wooden spoon might work as a stand-in.
If both Johan and you are at home, i highly recommend splitting duties and keeping the kitchen toddler free. Maybe it works better if Johan cooks and you keep Lukas out?
Either way, i TOTALLY relate to those pictures: http://minitosu.com/?p=1190

Thanx Gals :)
Ninjette, i remember that video ;P Yes, we try to do all of the above, but sometimes he JUST WANTS my attention and doesn't care about anything else. As for Lukas dinner time, he gets dinner earliest 6:30pm, average between 6:30 + 7pm. I find it extremely hard to do it earlier cause then i pretty much have to cook right after i come home.
