Lots of stripes(can't see it but his feet are striped) and sporting his new converse that he got from Neusa!! Oh, and holding his Elmo mobile phone that he got from Los Inatinez!
Wazzup Lukas!!! That's what Elmo says on his cell...
Now that the weather is so wonderful(75° today!) we pretty much take Lukas to our nearby playground + large grass area every day. Today was no exception. I am started to recognize kids, their names and parents now. And they know our Lukas as well :) Here's Lukas eating some cereal and observing an older girl and her red tricycle. I think Johan and i need to get him a bike soon...
Some dagis update, I almost started to cry when i saw Lukas when i went to pick him up today. He was standing by himself in the dagis yard, looking a bit confused and sucking on his sleeping companion lamb now turned into dagis companion. i think Hekmat the pedagog saw this in my eyes and came running as soon as i started to approach him and told me he did very well today, ate sausage and potatos by himself and took a nap with others. Hekmat even held my hand... it's funny, i think the pedagogs are there to comfort the parents more than the children perhaps :P
Ohh Sooki, I can imagine how you felt seeing Lukas all alone with his blankie:( I remember when MIchelle started kindergarden I was still on vacation so I went with my mom to drop her off and I started crying, it was definitely harder for me to let her go than for my mom or even for Michelle for that matter!!! I joke with Yu that Luca is not going to go to school until he becomes a pesky teenager then i will gladly let him go:)

Well, it's a double edge sword Paola... Johan and i am definitely happy he is going to dagis, but then to see him struggling to adjust is heartbreaking. But it's an inevitable step we need to take so we gotta suck it up i guess :)
