Lukas got a dagis plats!!(daycare center)

Guess what guys?! After 3 months of waiting, we got a dagis plats for Lukas!! Yay!! It's not our first choice or any of our other 4 choices but Johan and i am happy nevertheless. It's temporary and we can still be on waiting list for our other choices so i think it's good. We start April 14th:) Was going to check it out today but i got sick yesterday so pretty much stayed indoors yesterday + today...perhaps tomorrow, we see. But then again we have to pack for our Brazil trip which is in just 3 days!!!! Yikes!! I think i should focus on getting better + packing. I am talking to myself now :P

OK, some pix of Lukas is in order yes? Here's Lukas after he has emptied mommy's dresser. He likes to crawl up there and hang out a bit..odd but true. Then pic two is him trying on his backpack and getting ready for dagis.

And here's two more for the road. Remember his favorite (or rather mommy's favorite) hot biscuit pants? I put it on today and was so amazed how much our little man grew!!

p.s. Happy Semla Day as well :) We are awaiting Semlor delivery...Miranda put me in charge...I can't promise there will be semla for everybody any more... hee hee

Back from Oslo, Norway

I had a really great experience in Oslo, Norway working as the Visuelt 2011 International Juror for Interactive Design. My team of 5(including me) got along fantastically and made the 3 intense work days enjoyable. I of course missed Lukas immensely but Johan mms-ed me fotos often and the majority of the people there were parents as well so we could talk about it which helped:P All in all, i am so glad i took this opportunity because i learned a lot and got to meet a lot of fun, smart Norwegian Interactive Designers. Rockstar Lukas!!

I got Lukas these awesome toddler aviators yesterday during lunch time. Why? Two reasons, one because he is always wanting to play with mommy + daddy's glasses, and two because we will be going to Brazil(!!!!) in two weeks and i wanted him to get used to wearing them. But when i gave it to him yesterday evening as soon as i got home, he didn't want to put it on(typiskt!!) and just bent it out of shape:( But today Johan took some fotos of him wearing it when he wore it for a few minutes. Heehee, i can't stop laughing looking at this pic below...

On a different note, i am finally off to Oslo, Norway for a business trip tomorrow evening. I am super excited and worried at the same time. And i know i will miss Lukas terribly... But i plan to work half day tomorrow and see if i can pack up super fast(haven't had the chance) and join Johan + Lukas at Spira for a bit then give him dinner before i take the taxi to the airport. Wish me luck guys, and see you when i get back which is this Sunday!!
